Candidate Colorado House District 26

My name is Mark Barrington, and I am a candidate for  State House District 26.  I am  running against the current representative Andy Kerr. It is my goal to bring forth new ideas and present current facts and issues so people can understand what is happening at the capitol.

What I am about as your representative can be summed up in F.A.C.T.

Fiscal Responsibility

As your representative, I want to bring the budget to you. The state budget is the number one issue facing the state of Colorado.  It will not be solved unless politicians act on their responsibility.  I will provide you financial answers in a way you can understand because you should know where the money in our state is going.  Let’s stop the pork spending in Colorado.

Accountability

I believe that politicians should be held accountable for their actions.  The issues and current spending will be readily available to all citizens of Colorado so they can hold me, Mark Barrington, as their representative. I want to make sure the current monies the state has are spent in the right areas and report back to the citizens.  Let's bring accountability back to our communities.

Constitution of Colorado

Many people do not know that there is a constitution that governs our communities in Colorado.  Not only do I want to educate Colorado residents on the Constitution but other major issues facing our communities.

Traditionalism

Let's go back to the values this country was founded upon.  That means doing what is right for citizens the first time.  That means keeping the words "in God we trust" on our money, keeping "one nation under God" in the pledge, and putting the free back into freedom.
