Last night as I was driving home from the Lincoln Club of Denver, I stumbled upon a small hot rod show at the burger joint on Union Blvd.  As I started speaking with people, I was informed this is a club of citizens who love two things:  cars and America.

I felt so blessed to listen to what they saying is bothering them.  The number one issue that came up was the new Car Registration TAX, or to be politically correct FEE.  I told them where I stand and that it isn't fair for us to pay more for our vehicles.  If our current legislation would have budgeted the money correctly, we wouldn't need this increase.

I really enjoyed my time visitng last night and I look forward to going again, and to other places like it.  My final take is that what I saw last night is truely what America is.  Across the country there are hard working Americans with hobbies, dreams, and passions.  Nothing says it better than a burger joint: good service, ice cream, hot cars, fun people, and great weather.  This is the American dream!!!
