I was amazed at how many people showed up to Andy Kerr's Townhall Meeting on Saturday morning.  What I liked best about it was Andy included the city council members.

The purpose of the meeting this week was to discuss the budget of Colorado and answer any questions.  Well, in my opinion I never really got the right answers becuase they couldn't define where the money was going.

What I did like about the meeting was there was a company call www.BackSeatBudgeter.com who presented to us.  Using the website, we decided where we as citizens want the taxpayer's money to be spent.

When we took the poll of contituents in the room, myself and three others were the only republicans. I am encouraging all shapes and sizes, ethinicities, independants, and republicans to join me for the next townhall meeting.  Let's ask those questions and find out why people are voting the way they are.

Lastly, I did ask a hard quetsion about the senior exemption of the Homestead Act.  It took Andy almost four minuites to answer a simple yes or no quetsion.  He did do a thourough job explaining the bill... but come on, taking away the senior expemption, our SENIORS COUNT ON THAT EVERY YEAR!!!!
